鱈下駄,未BIOSアップグレードのBH6で動作してるらしい。 もしかしたら後で"Super SMPバージョン"をだすかもしれないとのこと(DUAL対応?)。 ----- Hi, I'm in the lab using the Abit Slot-1 BH6 MB and PL-iP3/T w/1.13GHz P-III (Tualatin core) to write this message, no need to upgrade the BIOS to get it to work (Althrough the POST screen told it's the 850MHz???), everything runs smoothly, FYI.
1) Current PL-iP3 supports the P-III SMP (Coppermine core) up to 1.1GHz. 2) If we keep the SMP support on the PL-iP3/T, the PCB size will be doubled, that's not cost-effective. Maybe some time later we'll do a "Super SMP Tualatin Upgrade", who knows. 3) We've the Renaissance/370S for the Dell, Compaq and IBM "Motherboard Upgrade" solution. FYI, none of the standard ATX mainboards can be used in these name-brand PCs--- They accounts for 30%+ market share, but no MB upgrade solution, kinda weired!
